Royal Soul are experts in music for weddings. Youth may still be on our side, but we're vastly experienced in wedding entertainment. Here's why we stand out from the crowd and make choosing the right wedding entertainment that much easier...
Tailored Wedding Music
Finding the right wedding musicians can probably get a bit stressful. But it doesn't need to !
We can create a bespoke wedding package for you, depending on exactly what you'd to happen during the ceremony, the location and vibe of the venue, and exactly what sort of atmosphere you want the day to have! We have a very extensive repertoire (below) that covers every musical taste and we enjoy offering a variety of options, whether your wedding is a traditional black tie affair in a country house, or a bohemian humanist hand-fasting, our versatility sets us apart from your standard acoustic duo. We combine jazz-influenced guitar, piano, funky vintage keyboard sounds, female and male harmonies, and even some percussion too! And we love the idea of adapting our style and repertoire to fit in perfectly with your day.
If you don't want any awkward silences, and are keen for your guests to be entertained when they're mingling before the ceremony begis, then we can set the tone for the day with some laid back jazz standards. Or you might prefer piano-led, classy and romantic songs (great for making use of venues that house a grand piano!), or maybe you're keen to give a glimpse of the party that's ahead, and we can play a short set of stripped back pop songs and party classics! The choice is yours...
We LOVE learning requests for ceremonies. Seriously, it's a lot of fun for us, and a really rewarding moment when we can finally play the exact song the bride and groom want to walk down the aisle to! We'll discuss your musical tastes with you, take requests and make sure each piece is suited to each aspect of your ceremony.
This might be a romantic song for the big aisle walk, a meaningful favourite song for the signing of the register, and something uplifting to play your guests out of the ceremony, and into the start of the party!
We love taking suggestions from you for this part of the day, and can arrange a selection of songs that are personal to you, played in our distinctly jazzy, soulful style.
"Something celebratory to play your guests out of the ceremony"...
We're totally happy to take requests, but we also have a number of ready-made suggestions if you are looking for inspiration! These are some ideal recessional song choices (click the links to hear them come to life!):
